What's Grillin'? Charaptor BBQ's Barbecue All You Can!

Unlimited barbecue for P290? Okay, sold!

Last month, I saw a Facebook post that a nearby grill, Charaptor BBQ, is offering a barbecue-all-you-can buffet for only P290 for lunch (10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesdays to Sundays) and P390 for dinner (6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Sundays to Thursdays and 5 p.m. to 12 m.n. from Fridays and Saturdays).

And by near, I mean it's just around Makati and a walking distance from where I am staying.

So, I went there with my favorite food buddy (aka the boyfriend) for lunch on a Thursday.

Upon arriving, we we're greeted by the friendly staff at the door and immediately offered us a table. And because we're early, there were only a few people who were there.

We proceeded to the buffet area while the waiter was setting up our grill.

Unlimited barbecue! The choices range from meat (different types and marinated pork, chicken, beef, fish, sea food), cold cuts, and vegetables. There's rice, too.

And also a wide selection of sauces to go with your barbecue.

I was told that when you go to Charaptor for dinner, there will be a lot more to choose from. But because most people prefer to go there at night (as they serve alcoholic drinks as well, perfect match with your barbecue), you have to expect a crowd.

I think I should try the P390 offer next time.

Anyway, with both hands full carrying loaded plates, it's time to grill! We were also provided with cooking oil. Complete grilling experience, eh?

Ta-daaa! Lunch is served.

Aside from the unlimited barbecue and rice, there's refillable fruit juice in a refillable pitcher served, too.

Overall, the eating experience was remarkable. I think we had three rounds at the buffet area. Haha.

If you're planning to binge-eat for lunch on a weekday and you're craving barbecue, I highly recommend that you try Charaptor BBQ. Or I guess any time of any day of the week will do.

It's also perfect for celebrations. Maybe if you're planning to treat your whole barkada but on a low budget, this is the place you should go to.

Check out their Facebook page here: Charaptor BBQ.

Food: Choices served in the buffet area were fresh and the marinated meats were delicious.

Time: Preparation depends on what you're grilling. The meats, of course, will take longer time to cook.

Service: The staff were nice and mindful of their customers.

Place: Charaptor's spacious and can accommodate groups of people. They even have seats outside for smoking customers. Or for those who just want to feel the vibe of the streets.

Verdict: 4 out of 5

'Til the next food adventure!
