Strapless Saturday: Feed and Satisfy Hunger

It was after she walked out of the cubicle, I realized she was still figuring out how to turn on the faucet. With wandering eyes, the little girl turned the faucet handle, trying her luck if water comes out. It was supposed to be pushed.

I guided her with the soap dispenser, as she was on her toes while reaching for it. (Also, she was wondering how soap was in liquid form, flowing out from that foreign object, and not a solid block.)
"Walang pong pamunas?" I checked the cubicle again for a tissue roll and noticed that she wasn't able to flush the toilet. After flushing, I handed the tissue over her dripping palm.
"Paki-ayos naman po nung damit ko." Then I saw those eyes of ignorance and innocence. I willingly did what she asked and twisted the ends of the oversized shirt at her back, making it tighter atop her pink flowy dress.
After fixing, the little girl attempted to pull the heavy restroom door, but to no avail. I opened it for her, and she ran as fast she could, back to the hall, along with the other kids.
It was a win-win situation for both of us. It was a day of discoveries for the little girl and me.

Wholesome Wednesday: Jux Ain't Dead Yet

[Something light for the week, I give you... Wholesome Wednesdays.]

Jux ain't dead. I thought it was.

Rumors had it on May that photoblogging platform Jux.com will be closing down due to slow growth. It was reported that the site will be shut down on August of this same year. I assumed that the reports were true and my own avenue for my amateur photography was really over.

Titillating Tuesday: The Fast, the Furious, and the Juice Cleanse

[Exciting things for the week, I give you: Titillating Tuesdays.]

"I can buy you, your friends, and this club!"
Then a loud slap on the face came after. Cut! says the director. But this is no scene from a movie. Eventually, this happened in real life.

A drunk Anne Curtis have caused a commotion recently in a privileged club somewhere Taguig City. After having a drink or two [or more], the actress-host apparently slapped co-actor John Lloyd Cruz and two other friends, and even accused the later with drug addiction.

Definitely, a blockbuster hit.

Aside from that, she even pointed her finger on showbiz reporter-host Phoemela Barranda, delivering that line that you only expect to see in movies.

Although it was also reported that Curtis only started to freak out for a reason, perhaps because somebody triggered her to do so.

Strapless Saturday: From a Rookie [PBA Fan's] Perspective

[To keep this blog alive, I shall have my weekly posts titled "Strapless Saturday."]

Just before the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Rookie draft 2013, I noticed my Facebook and Twitter feeds were already hyped with excitement on who will be placed on what team. I came to realize that our very own college hoops players will be advancing to be pros already. That's why. Boy, made me feel old.

The recognition on most of the players to be drafted was inevitable. These were the people we once cheered and jeered for. And now, the school pride won't matter anymore. (Well... not really. Hahaha.) It's a matter of who will make it to the cut and if these players will stand out on the national basketball league.

And so, the D-Day came. Teams have picked and traded. Former allies became [basketball court] enemies and, quite unexpectedly, enemies became allies.

Yes, bro?

Yup, college hoops no more.

So What's With the Name?

The Twisted Bra.

If you're a woman reading this part, let me ask you: How many times have you experienced discomfort because your bra strap coiled as if it instantly has a life of its own?

Have you even tried fixing it? In public? Rushed to the restroom to straighten things up? Or you just leave it there... err, twisted? And bulged at your back?

(*Oh, if you're a man, skip that part. You didn't? Great.)

Pet peeve. Yup, it's one of my many mentally-listed pet peeves. Or I guess like most people, I hate it when there are things that aren't in place and I can't handle that easy.
